My baby changing mat lost and found
I am on holiday at the Polish seaside at the moment. I am here with my kids. My daughter Kate is three years old and my son Daniel is a year and a half. It"s their first time at the seaside and they are really impressed. We are going on long walks every day and spend the time on the beach. We went there yesterday. The weather was not very hot and it was a bit windy but not cold at all. We really liked it there but unfortunately I lost my baby changing mat. I packed in the bag perhaps ten minutes before we left the beach. Then my son distracted my attention a bit and I somehow forgot to take it when we were leaving. Bad luck! I realised that when I was at the hotel. I could not return to the spot where I had left it because the kids were already tired. I could not leave them with anybody so I decided to put it off. On the next day we returned to the beach. My bag was not there. We had been looking for it, but it was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly I saw a young girl approaching me. She was perhaps eighteen years old. She was holding my cot bed mattress in her hand. I suddenly recognised her. She had been there the day before. She had found my mat and decided to look for me later. I must say that I was really lucky to meet a person like that. Most people would have ignored it, I suppose.
